  9. Good morning Ladies,

move to Kuwait three months ago, would love to be a part of a women social club. I work during the week but I am off on the weekend. Do any one have any suggestions or ideas, is there a really a "Ladies Who Do Lunch In Kuwait" club.

    1. Hello there
Don't do 'actual' lunches. Do keep you updated with things going on in Kuwait and there's a huge archive of things on the blog for you to get yourself acquainted. For a women's social club try www.theBLS.com, or mixed www.bbfkuwait.com or www.aware.com.kw. Hope this helps. Weekends are best spent lounging in the sun at the Radisson SAS, The Corniche or Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Kuwait's tough on wallflower types so get out there and mingle. People are friendly (sometimes overly ;O), be prepared for some crazy driving stunts on the roads, be open and tolerant and remember this is not England.

  10. Tennis PLEASE! I have played social and league tennis for many years in South Africa and would love to join a social group here. I have trawled the web but have not had much luck. I don't want lessons - I am just desperate to get back on court and play!
Hopefully someone out there will have some ideas.
Thank you. Lovely site this - lots of interesting things
