To mark the closing of Kuwait’s pavilion at the 14th International
Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia.

Please join us on the evening of 14th December for a small and informal symposium at the National Library, to close our six-month pavilion at la Biennale di Venezia. 

The event begins at 7PM and will feature four short presentations and a Q&A discussion, and speakers will present criticisms and solutions for Kuwait's urban landscape, and will tackle themes such as demolition, preservation, public space, and identity. Presentations will be in Arabic and English. Topics include: Green Island, the waterfront project, the Central Bank of Kuwait, Al-Sawaber, and the Kuwait National Museum.
