Drums of Africa Event by Indigo Shadows: Review

My precious with one of the magnificent props

A little taste of something different. A lot of effort from Lorie Beverley the organiser. A slow start but quickly picked up pace with some great high-energy dancers, fantastic music, fab drummers and some entertaining gospel singers. But the tickets, I thought,  were a tad over priced. But hopefully in the future with more sponsors the prices will come down. Would love to see Lorie do more events as we really lack productions of this magnitude here.

The buffet dinner was not quite what I had expected from a fine hotel like the Holiday Inn; the beef was very tough and inedible. I don't believe I've ever seen wrapped single slices of processed cheese on a buffet before. Also didn't like that many of the guests were leaving their dirty, used plates dotted all over the buffet area.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and my African princess loved the prize she got for her costume (that mumma made her) ; a KD 10 voucher from sponsors Fantasy Toys :OD

Overall a fun night. Thank you Lorie x
