RunKuwait: A 200K Run From North to South of Kuwait

RunKuwait, a first of its kind in Kuwait, is a 200K self-sufficiency run with up to 5 participating runners.

Yousef Al Qanai, Runner and founder of Aymstrong came up with the idea of this event and decided to run the 200K as an effort to promote the Aymstrong message of empowerment by creating a sense of determination and unity within our society and amongst Kuwait’s youth.

The run will take place on Kuwait’s National Day and Liberation Day on the 25th/26th February 2012 across Kuwait from its northern to southern borders, and will take an average estimated time of 50 hours to complete.  It will be a continuous run with the exception of stopping at Kuwait Towers for media coverage and certain rest points throughout the day for personal needs; and autonomic in nature, requiring the runners to be self-equipped for the entire duration of the run.

LWDLIK - Best of luck people! Very inspirational stuff. Will be following the race on 25/26 Feb. For those who think they couldn't do something like this take a look below at a pic of Yousef in his teens...
