Govt Oblivious to Jleeb Misery?

Arab Times
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19:

The condition of facilities and infrastructure in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh has completely deteriorated and it seems the area has been cut off from all services in Kuwait, resulting in the absence of healthy living conditions.

In a recent tour of the area by a reporter of the Arabic daily Al-Seyassah, a sorry state of affairs was observed, and the whole scene described a place where a destructive earthquake had just struck and had plunged the city into calamitous situation where ruins, garbage and refuse flows with sewage water in a manner that turns the roads into swamps; and as if rescue teams and services are nowhere to be found.

No matter how accurate pictures are in conveying the sorrowful state of affairs in Jleeb; no matter how the pictures avail the need to hear the cries of the inhabitants and dwellers of this area and their entreaties to be rescued from the pit of negligence, poverty and misery, camera  remains incapable and inadequate to transmit the obnoxious smells widespread in the area and which is bound to plunge dwellers into sickness and serious health issues.

LWDLIK- Shameful! I've seen cleaner streets in the poorest areas of Dhaka.
