Shake Shack Opens Tomorrow

11am at Avenues :OD

Update:
Passed by on Monday July 11th, the place was heaving with people, great loud music and a 20 people deep queue. I don't do queues. Will have to go from breakfast or when it's not so busy ;O) I'm still not sure what a concrete is? Got to be a slab of meat I guess?

  1. We stopped by last Saturday. The service was very good and the food was overall nice, a good place to stop by for a small quick burger. I liked how you could select your own extras when you collect your order i.e. disposable, ketchup, mustard, etc.

However, for anyone who hasn't eaten there before, be aware that when you order a burger, all you get is literally the burger and the bun. If you'd like lettuce, onion, pickles, etc, you have to ask for them specifically when ordering. So my hubby got a plain ol' burger which he wasn't too happy with... The cashiers really should offer these at the point of ordering.

The fries were okay, seemed to be made of processed potato mash, so they weren't realy to my taste, but they went down well with my toddler as they were soft and squishy and easy to eat.

Would I go again? Probably, though you still can't beat a Big Mac :P

A concrete is an American Custard with mixed in toppings, however if your English, dont get too excited as its not Custard Custard, but more like ice cream.
