My Honours List ;O)

Making a few lists today and was inspired by our own Rev Andy Thompson, of St Paul's Anglican Church, Ahmadi, getting his MBE. I'm not giving out any MBE's or money but here are 8 of the most amazing expats in Kuwait, that I know of, who deserve a  little recognition for their blood, sweat and tears.

1. Vera Al Mutawa of BSK.
The most savvy, dynamic, charitable, influential, hard-working, vivacious, fun, tough and lovable lady you could every wish to meet.
2. Eric Tan of  Welcome to Kuwait Guide Book.
Eric is responsible for the Welcome to Kuwait Books. He still lovingly documents Kuwait for his new books coming out soon. Against difficult odds he carries on producing these books which are his works of  love for Kuwait.
3. Greg Maine of Volvo.
Who even though has been telling me for more than 25 years that he's leaving we know he can't. His friendship and guidance to many expats here has been priceless.
4. Margaret Mclusky of PAWS.
And her dear husband Mac. For all the money and long, hard hours she puts in caring for the rejected, abused animals here.
5. Rhoda Mahmoud of KES.
Her reputation for being kind, caring and very involved with her children at KES is much appreciated.
6. Margaret Al Sayer of KAACH and the Bayt Abdulla Project
For her humanity.
7. Sheryll Mairza, Director of Operation Hope
A wonderful, big-hearted lady and charity.
8. Aisha Al Humaidhi and John Peaveler of K'S PATH - Animal Friends League
For their endless mission to save and shelter Kuwait's mistreated and unwanted animals.

I know there are so many more. Add your own list in comments..
