More Auditions – “Barefoot In the Park”

Auditions will be held later this month for Neil Simon’s classic comedy, “Barefoot in the Park.”

The play is a romantic comedy set in New York in the 1960’s. Its main characters are newlyweds Paul and Corrie Bratter, and it is set in their 5th floor apartment. Corrie is a free spirit, full of life and fun, who tries to involve her more solid, sensible husband Paul in a scheme to fix up her mother with their very eccentric neighbor. When things don’t go according to plan, an argument follows that makes her question their relationship and their entire marriage. In the end, true love wins out, and Paul and Corrie live happily ever after – fortunately, so do Mrs. Banks and Mr. Velasco!

Performances are Tuesday-Thursday, March 29th-31st 7:30pm
Rehearsals are Saturday 11am-1pm, Sunday 7-9pm, Tuesday 7-9pm.
Saturday, March 26th is a mandatory tech rehearsal from 11am onwards.
