I know who I want to win. C'mon Kuwait the all-night beeping and the traffic jams will be worth it to see people celebrating.Update: They did it!! They beat the Saudis 1-0 it was an awesome game, best football I've seen in a long time. We just couldn't help ourselves after the game we took the Gulf road home it was such fun to see the kids dancing in the street and people so happy. And now we need some fireworks for the team's arrival and an open-topped bus to take them around.
I went insane watching that!! It really made me miss Kuwait so much. And when people were being interviewed in their cars after that (and the dude on the motorcycle who clearly wasn't Kuwaiti talking in a Kuwaiti accent).

Hi Diana, it was truly awesome stuff wasn't it! Great football! The Gulf road was one enormous party with loads of dancing kids, cars full of ladies with their kids hanging out the windows (thankfully the traffic was hardly moving so not too dangerous)everyone was clapping and beeping their horns, guys dancing and jumping around to loud Arabic music, my husband was telling the cars around us to tune into Marina FM who were playing great Kuwaiti songs so the music was really loud and the same coming from the cars surrounding us. Fabulous!
