Drunk Australian hospitalized after attempting to sit on the back of Fatso the crocodile

A 36-year-old drunk Australian man was hospitalized after he decided to hop on the back of a 16-foot crocodile named Fatso.
The man, whose name was not released, had just been thrown out of a nearby bar for being too drunk. He jumped over a barbed-wire fence and trespassed on Broome Crocodile Park in northwest Australia. The man told authorities he wanted to pet Fatso.
"He has attempted to sit on its back, and the croc has taken offense to that and has spun around and bit him on the right leg," said Broome Police Sgt. Roger Haynes.
The Aussie suffered lacerations to his right leg but managed to climb back over the fence and call for help.
According to the BBC, the bleeding man stumbled back to the bar. The bar's manager, Mark Phillips, said the man still had pieces of bark from trees hanging off of him. He received dozens of stitches on his leg.
Malcolm Douglas, owner of the croc park, said Fatso probably would have killed the man if the weather had been warmer.
"Fatso was a bit more sluggish than normal due to the cooler nights we have been experiencing in Broome," Douglas said.
The world's largest reptile, Saltwater crocodiles like Fatso can grow up to 23 feet. Authorities said the man was lucky he was able to walk away from the pen, which Fatso shared with two female crocodiles.
"Saltwater crocodiles ... once they get hold of you, are not renowned for letting you go," Haynes said. "He's lucky to have escaped with his life

LWDLIK- Another reason to stop drinking. I bet the Aussies name a drink after him. Something like 'Blinking Idiot' would be a good name :OD
