LWDLIK- Hmmm.. I see his point- that the head of the Catholic church may be condoning paedophilia. Though I think his biggest challenge will be converting muslims to his theory of evolution. He is going to print 'God Delusion' in Arabic. Might not be a wise career move.
I agree, I see the point of potential condoning and further in times of doubt and uncertainty we look to our leaders for resolve, reassurance; He, the Pope, is a powerful symbol for religious commitment and as the vessel by which God communicates. Where is the accountability for the damange, despair, and destruction that gross sexual abuse of children has been perpetrated?

Its complicated and sad.
